People convicted of offences at Magistrates' Courts around the county recently
Simon White, 33, of Moorbank, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted stealing a camera and a learning tablet worth £90.49 from Mothercare in Cowley, on November 20. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £90.49 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.
Caroline McDonagh, 38, of Mortimer Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted assault by beating on July 4 last year in Bicester. Restraining order granted until January 14, 2015, banning contact with victim, fined £100, told to pay £50 compensation, £15 victim surcharge and £100 costs.
Mandy Mcmillan, 51, of Lyford Close, Drayton, near Abingdon, admitted assault by beating at The Midget pub, in Preston Road, Abingdon, on December 27. Community order made with a curfew between 8pm and 6am for two months. Told to pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85. Also admitted being drunk and disorderly and refusing to leave the pub on same date. No separate penalty.
