Level-crossing barrier in Bicester is fixed

BICESTER: A level-crossing barrier stuck in the up position for 12 hours was fixed yesterday morning.
Charbridge Lane in Bicester was closed from 6.15pm on Tuesday while Network Rail teams worked on the glitch.
Network Rail spokesman Sam Kelly said: “We fully appreciate this may have caused some delays for motorists and apologise for the problem which was caused by a mechanical failure.”
