Man cut free from car after crash in Abingdon

Firefighters had to help a man out of his car after a three vehicle collision on the A34 southbound between North Abingdon and Marcham.
The accident happened shortly after 3pm today.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said the man in the car was “medically trapped” and had to be manually extricated by the fire service, and was left in the care of the ambulance service.
Details of his injuries were not provided.
