An Oxford Brookes academic was chosen from more than 2,000 applicants to take part in the BBC’s first Female Expert Day.
The initiative aims to boost the number of women academics appearing on TV and radio.
Professor Tina Miller was one of 30 experts who took part in the BBC Academy-run day, held on Friday, January 18.
During the day the women met industry professionals, received coaching and appeared on BBC One’s The One Show and Radio 4’s Start the Week.
