FORGET paints and canvas, a new exhibition is out to show all a modern artist needs is an iPad.
For its latest collection the West Ox Arts gallery asked for anyone working in digital media, using a mobile tablet device, to submit their pieces.
The result was a mixture of digital paintings, drawings, collages and illustrations which now decorate the walls of the Bampton Town Hall’s gallery, in Market Square. Gallery curator Erin Singleton, pictured with work by Oxford artist Martin Beek, said: “It’s a really diverse mixture of different techniques and styles.”
- The exhibition will run until January 27 and the gallery is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10.30am to 4.30pm, Sunday 2pm to 4pm, and is closed on Mondays.
