Woman faces trial over Witney Christmas lights incident
11:10am Friday 21st December 2012 in News
A woman will stand trial next year in connection with an incident at the Witney Christmas lights switch-on.
Bethan Tichborne, 28, of Campbell Road in Cowley, denies one count of obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty and one count of using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
She appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and will stand trial at the same court on March 14. She has been released on bail.
