THE two men convicted of murdering homeless man Denis Witney have been sentenced to life in prison.
Both Wayne Cattell and Daniel McCollin were today ordered to spend a minimum of 17 years in prison for an assault which took place last November inside a house in St Clement's, in Oxford.
Sentencing the two men Judge Patrick Eccles said they were guilty of a "vicious, unrestrained attack on a helpless man" which had caused great pain to his family.
