‘Naked rambler’ will face court

A MAN known as ‘the naked rambler’ will appear at court in Oxford tomorrow charged with an act of outraging public decency.
Stephen Gough, 53, of Chamberlayne Road in Eastleigh, Hampshire, was arrested in Burford Road, Carterton, at about lunchtime on Tuesday, December 4.
Gough was initially charged with using threatening words and behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress but the charge was changed at Banbury Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday.
He was remanded in custody.
He is now due to appear at Oxford Crown Court tomorrow.
