People convicted of offences at Oxford Magistrates' Court recently:
Steven Sinclair, 22, of Garsington Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a carrier bag containing personal items in Divinity Road, Oxford, on October 14. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay £50 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
Liliane Bonfim, 34, of Pelican Place, Eynsham, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Eynsham on March 19. Community order with supervision requirement. Told to pay £85 costs.
Jose Phillips, 51, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting jewellery and accessories worth £30 from The British Heart Foundation in Oxford on September 18. Fined £100.
Andrew Jones, 49, of Canning Crescent, Cowley, Oxford, admitted assault by beating while under the influence of alcohol in Cowley Road, Oxford, on August 5. Jailed for 14 weeks.
