  • Daniel Ryan, 25, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting champagne worth £392 from Waitrose in Old High Street, Headington, Oxford, on August 7. Given an 18-month conditional discharge, told to pay £392 compensation and £85 costs.
  • Wayne Brain, 38, of Mill Lane, Upper Heyford, convicted of having 14-inch bolt croppers for the use of theft in Oxford on April 6. Community order with a three-month curfew requirement. Told to pay £250 costs.
  • Ashley Rees, 30, of Faber Close, Oxford, admitted receiving a stolen Kindle worth £90 at Cash Generators, Pound Way, Oxford, on October 25. Sent to prison for 26 weeks as already on a suspended sentence order.
  • Moez El Mekki, 45, of Normandy Crescent, Cowley, Oxford, admitted assaulting PS 125 Matthew Gorman in the execution of his duty in the Prince of Wales pub, Oxford, on September 6. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay £25 compensation and £85 costs.
  • Keith McAllister, 36, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat products worth £47.48 from Sainsbury’s on September 9. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
  • Keianoosh Abdolrazaghi, 20, of Stonehouse Close, Kingston Bagpuize, admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Market Place, Wantage, on October 7. Also admitted possession of cannabis and cocaine at Wantage Police Station, Church Street, Wantage, on October 7. Fined £180, £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Amber Agnew, 20, of Abbey Road, Oxford, admitted stealing cash from Homebase in Botley, Oxford, between June 1 and June 15. Told to do 40 hours’ unpaid community work in the next 12 months.
  • Janice East, 55, of Rose Hill Butts, Oxford, admitted possession of two wraps of diamorphine and one wrap of cocaine in Oxford on September 13. Sent to prison for 10 weeks.
  • Tapiwua Manhando, 27, of Chestnut Court, Goodey Close, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in St Clements, Oxford, September 7. Had 51mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £250, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
  • David Wright, 21, of Heather Road, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating in Milton, Abingdon, on July 19. Fined £220, £100 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £200 costs.
  • Stuart Nicholson, 36, of Cowley Road, Oxford, convicted of being at Redbridge Waste Management Site, Oxford, for an unlawful purpose, namely theft, on June 26. Community order made with a drug rehabilitation requirement. Told to pay £250 costs.
