OH! You naughty man Mr Buckingham! You probably put the cake tin in the wrong recycling bin (ViewPoints, November 28). Sad to say we ‘would-be tidy-uppers’ often do get stick.
When I was more able than now, I often used to fill a carrier bag with other people’s litter and one day left the bag on the side of the path, ready to pick up on my way back from my walk.
When I came back to collect it someone had strewn the lot all over the path and grass verge – so much for “Keep Britain Tidy”.
It seems to me there are ‘them as do’ and ‘them as don’t’ care what the place looks like.
I wonder what their homes are like?
