STEWART DALE has today been convicted of murdering Oxford grandmother Jennifer Hume at his Horspath caravan.
The jury at Guildford Crown Court returned the guilty verdict this afternoon after the 28-year-old’s trial began on Monday.
Dale, of Prospect Park, beat and stabbed 55-year-old Ms Hume to death on May 18.
The pair had gone back to his home after drinking in Oxford city centre pubs, but he turned on her after she squeezed his genitals.
The court had heard Ms Hume, of Hamel Walk, died after “the most brutal attack imaginable.”
He is currently being sentenced.
