IT WAS the night of the long scissors for a Shipton-under-Wychwood group who stayed up all night for their art.
The Scrapdollys family history group took part in a 24-hour sponsored scrapbooking event at Wychwood Primary School on Saturday.
The 10 participants raised more than £450 for the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance, and donations are still coming in.
Scrapbooking is the latest craze in genealogy — making a scrap book of photos, stories and memories for your descendants as you go through life.
Organiser Kimberley Shepherd, 43, from Shipton-under-Wychwood, said: “We started at noon on Saturday and by 9.30pm I thought ‘I can’t do this’, but we pushed on.
“We talked throughout the night, we had some good laughs and there were quiet moments.
“Overall, I am quite proud of it.”
