POLICE have tonight appealed for help to find a missing elderly woman with dementia who last seen in Oxford.

Nancy Higgins, 82, had an appointment at about 11am today at the Churchill Hospital in Headington and has not been seen since.

Mrs Higgins is white and around 5ft. She was last seen wearing a three-quarter length sea green coat, white knitted hat and was carrying a black handbag.

Sgt Bill Sykes said: “Nancy has dementia and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Although Nancy is from the Brackley it is likely that she is still in the Oxford area as she has not got access to any transport and left the hospital this morning on foot.

“I urge anyone who recognises her description her to contact the police as soon as possible on 101.”
