SO THE newly-elected Police Commissioner’s first statement says the council tax must rise.
I think the council members need to get their priorities right. On Saturday, November 17, at about 8pm, going towards Witney, a gritting lorry was gritting and salting the road.
It was a clean, dry, frosty night and the roads were dry. There was not a chance of sleet or snow. What a waste.
Come January and February, they will be complaining that there isn’t enough grit and salt to go round.
