Knife man avoids jail

A 26-year-old man who pointed a knife at the bouncers of a nightclub narrowly avoided jail.
Elijah Adeoye, of Bury Street, London, admitted possessing a weapon at the Bridge nightclub in Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, on July 3 last year.
The student and chef also admitted threatening behaviour when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday.
Judge Mary Jane Mowat gave Adeoye a six-month sentence suspended for 12 months.
