THE Met Office warned that more bad weather was on the way following Wednesday’s downpours and flooding.
Up to 20mm of rain was expected last night, between 6pm and midnight, along with winds of up to 60mph in Oxfordshire.
Today is expected to be dry and sunny with top temperatures of 10C, but this evening the mercury will plummet to around 3C in the city but colder in outlying areas.
More rain is expected on Saturday and light showers currently forecast for Sunday and Monday.
