OXFORD: Catalytic converters have been stolen from vehicles in a spate of thefts in the city.
In the past week, the exhaust-cleaning devices, which contain valuable metals such as platinum, have been stolen in Westbury Crescent, Cowley; Stanway Road, Risinghurst; and Little Field, Littlemore.
Police believe that the targets were identified during daytime, before the thefts took place overnight.
Anyone with information should call Oxford police on 101.
