Police 101 number use increases
11:00am Friday 16th November 2012 in News
The non-emergency number 101 is now used for more than 70 per cent of calls to Thames Valley Police.
The new number replaced the 0845 number in November last year.
The numbers have run side by side but the 0845 number will be switched off on December 1 and a recorded message will tell callers to re-dial 101.
