21-year-old woman still to be identified

OXFORD: Police have not yet identified the 21-year-old woman who was killed after being repeatedly run over on the A40 on Monday.
She was hit by a Ford Ka at about 10.30pm on the westbound carriageway between Forest Hill and the Thornhill park-and-ride.
Her body was hit by other vehicles. Anyone with information should call Pc James Mahony on 101.

So it did confuse me why it happened where it did..
Either way, it was an unfortunate accident & my sympathies go out to her family.

If she was on the side of the road with no path it does not take a rocket scientist to wonder why she got hit.
If she was hit several times her body may well have moved, she may have been walking from thronhill or toward thornhill, or the Forest Hill bus stop.
She may have been taken to the public sex environment ........
Whatever or however this happened that strectch of road is dire, people do have to use it and even with the path on the other side of the road, one still has to cross the A40 to get to it.

This is a particularly hazardous area to walk along, unfortunately it has to be done in order to access the bus stop and for those residents that do live in this locality. Oxon County Council do not wish to encourage people to to do this-in case it encourages more users of their nearby public sex environment ... difficult (not to say dangerous) for those of us that need to use the bus
