One person taken to hospital after car accident on A34

Three cars were involved in a collision on the A34 between Oxford and Bicester at around 5pm.

The accident happened near Weston-on-the-green. One casualty has been taken to the John Radcliffe, two others were not seriously injured.

The road is not closed, but one lane has been shut and officers are still at the scene now.

this junction is lethal.....amounts of times I come out of the park and ride at water eaton and look right to see the A34 solid.....i go the back way thru kirtlington to Bicester. I have lost count of the times there has been an accident at this junction....needless to say, people driving too close or with faulty lights (seriously cannot believe how many people drive with lights out of alignment or dead lights)......you deserve to be fined!
