Access to Kennington from Oxford is back open ahead of schedule

KENNINGTON Road in Kennington near Oxford has re-opened ahead of schedule, after roadworks finished this afternoon.
Thames Water's flood alleviation work which has shut the road to traffic and buses since Monday has been completed two days early.
The work is designed to stop sewers from backing up into properties in Kennington Road and Upper Road, which has been an issue during heavy rain.
