THIS feathered friend got a warm welcome from residents when he landed at a care home in Watlington.

On Friday, birds of prey were brought to Watlington and District Nursing Home to delight the people living there.

Care home resident Nora Firth, 97, said: “It was great fun and it makes a real difference for people here to see the owls.”

An Indian eagle owl, a barn owl, a white-faced scops owl, and a burrowing owl were among the birds brought into the home.

Residents at the home in Hill Road were able to hold the birds, as well as being treated to an impressive flight display.

What is the point of reporting such an incident that is so vague.
