LITTLE Toby Shepherd had big plans to build a wooden den at an Autumn festival.
The Cholsey three-year-old joined other youngsters at the activity on Saturday at the Earth Trust Centre in Little Wittenham.
Toby said: “I enjoyed being a builder.”
His father James said: “We had a brilliant day as a family.
“Toby enjoyed chopping logs and hunting for pumpkins and making apple juices, as well as making willow dens.
“We go to the Earth Trust quite a lot anyway as it is particularly family friendly.”
Families at the festival also enjoyed seasonal storytelling and other crafts.
Jane Cabutti, inset, from the Earth Trust, said: “The aim of the day was to encourage people to get outside and explore the countryside.
“It all went really smoothly and we are hoping to make it an annual event.”
