After a few months’ break I’m back to help Oxford get fitter and healthier with a weekly article about anything and everything health and fitness related.

But first, let me reintroduce myself.

I have been working in the fitness industry for 11 years and have my own Oxford-based business called Life Changing Fitness which has had great success in helping clients to achieve their fitness and weight loss goals.

I offer personal training, sports massage, an online fat loss programme and a wide variety of fitness classes and also work as an educator and fitness presenter teaching at events across the UK.

Since my previous series of articles for Friday Life I have been though some incredible experiences that have helped me to become a calmer and much healthier version of my old self – which I’m going to tell you all about.

Why? Because I can now help and advise you guys to achieve this too.

I’ve just returned from spending a month in Los Angeles doing an intense yoga course that has given me the qualification to teach Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power, Dynamic and Restorative yoga.

And it has taught me how to meditate and live a much calmer lifestyle, something I want to help others achieve too.

I’m still at the beginning of this journey but I know if I continue to follow this path my personal life and my business is going to be so much more enjoyable and successful.

Coming up in the next few weeks I’m going to share with you how you can achieve this too.

There will be articles on meditation, ways to de-stress, the best way to eat for life to achieve a healthier, leaner and more confident version of yourself, and advice on the correct exercise to get fit for life, not just for short-term gains.

I’d also like to hear from you!

This column is for YOU. It’s here to help you achieve health, fitness and mindfulness.
