SKIERS hoping to brush up their technique before heading to the mountains, are being offered a special deal to celebrate the start of the Winter Olympics.
Based in Reading, Skiplex is the country's only continuous indoor revolving slope - effectively a treadmill for skiers. As well as being a great day out in itself, it also allows winter sports enthusiasts to perfect their skills before heading abroad - thus maximising their time on the piste.
On Saturday February 8, Skiplex will celebrate the start of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics by offering a day of fun on the slope for just £10 for a 10 minute taster session.
Skiers will also get tips and advice from family ski holiday specialists Mark Warner, and can check out the latest boots, helmets and other equipment at the new Outdoor Traders Ski Tech shop upstairs.
- Skiplex is at Unit 3a, Headley Park 10, Headley Road East, Woodley, Reading, RG5 4SW There are also centres in Basingstoke and Chiswick.
- Skiplex is open from 9-5pm.
- Book online at skiplex.co.uk or call 0845 6003599
