Last week’s explosive episode of The Apprentice saw Lord Sugar refusing to name a winning team, so we were doubtful that the newest episode could be just as dramatic.

But oh how wrong we were, thanks to this week’s candy-themed challenge. The two teams were tasked with creating their own line of sweets and then selling them in Brighton.

Seems simple, right? Well, luckily for us, but perhaps unluckily for the contestants, this didn’t quite prove to be the case.

The best thing about this week’s episode was the incredible innuendos in it. Seriously, it was enough to rival The Great British Bake Off.

The Nebula team decided to call their brand of sweets Suck It And Sea. A slightly, ahem, suggestive name, and people on Twitter just couldn’t handle it. That’s right: the team managed to make something as innocent as sweets seem rude.

Yelling the name up and down the streets of Brighton really didn’t help.

What made things even worse was the fact that some of the shots in the show accidentally had phallic images in the background.

This wasn’t the only problem that Suck It And Sea encountered. For some strange reason, they decided to opt for a salt and vinegar flavoured fudge. Which, as we’re sure you can agree, sounds just plain disgusting.

Seriously, who would want to eat that flavour?

Phew. So all in all, it wasn’t a good day for candy. But it was Oliver who had an even worse day, as the latest contestant to be fired.

We’re just a bit gutted that there just weren’t any puns on Lord Sugar’s name – c’mon guys, it was handed to you on a plate!
