Tom Cruise acted out his lengthy film career when he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, but it was a surprise cameo that really brought the house down.

The pair stormed through his biggest hits, including Top Gun, Days Of Thunder, Rain Man, five Mission Impossible films and Interview With The Vampire in this epic nine-minute video.

When the duo reached Tom’s classic hit Jerry Maguire, Tom resumed his role of sports agent Jerry and James played NFL star Rod Tidwell, the role which won Cuba Gooding Jr an Oscar.

As they began the famous scene in which Rod screams “show me the money” down the phone at Jerry, Cuba strolled on to the set and told James: “If you’re going to do it, let me do it right.”

James’s face as he stands behind Cuba and watches him recreate the scene is an absolute picture.

Another classic moment came when Tom was resuming his role of Lt Daniel Kaffee in A Few Good Men and was preparing to question James’s Colonel Jessup, a role made famous by Jack Nicholson.

The only bump in the road was that Tom was still wearing his long-haired wig from recreating of Eyes Wide Shut, so had to fling it off suddenly.

The magnificent run came to the end as the duo recreated the famous scene from Risky Business when Tom’s character Joel Goodsen dances to Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seger.
