If you’re not already aware that 2016 is the year of Craig David, then quite frankly, where have you been?

The singer – who first found fame 15 years ago, FYI – has made quite a comeback so far with new hits like Nothing Like This.

He played his first Radio 1 Big Weekend in Exeter on Saturday, with his set also including classics like 7 Days and Fill Me In.

The thing is, you could be forgiven for wondering if he could actually pull the whole thing off, seeing as it’s been, well, a while since he was last performing.

But it seems you’d be wrong… he’s still got it.

Fans were definitely not disappointed. In fact, people were questioning why he was on the In new music we trust stage instead of the main stage…

And signs had to be put up to say the tent where he was performing was full.

Seriously. It looks like people were queueing to get in.

He also performed a Justin Bieber cover. Which we reckon went down pretty well with the crowds.

Boy are we glad you’re back, Craig.
