Game of Thrones’ star Alfie Allen will make his West End debut as part of the star-studded cast for Jesse Eisenberg’s play The Spoils.

The 29-year-old actor, best known for playing Theon Greyjoy in the HBO fantasy series, will star alongside Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’s Jesse, who has written and stars in the play, and The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar as it makes its European premiere later this month.

Katie Brayben, best known for playing Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and Billions’ star Annapurna Sriram are also newly announced for the cast of the acclaimed comedy, which moves from off-Broadway to a limited run at London’s Trafalgar Studios.

Jesse stars as misanthrope Ben, who bullies everyone in his life including his room-mate Kalyan (Kunal), an earnest Nepalese immigrant.

When Ben discovers that his school crush is marrying a straight-laced banker, he sets out to destroy their relationship and win her back in a cutting satire of relationships and American privilege.

It is Jesse’s third play after The Revisionist, which starred Vanessa Redgrave, and Asuncion, which earned him a Drama League nomination for distinguished performance.

Alfie was last seen taking over from Daniel Radcliffe on the national tour of Equus in 2008 but is yet to star on the West End stage.

The Spoils, directed by Scott Elliott, runs at the Trafalgar Studios from May 27 to August 13.
