Kylie and Dannii Minogue wowed as they performed on TV together for the first time in nearly 30 years on The X Factor Australia.

The pint-sized siblings sang 100 Degrees, a track from Kylie’s Christmas album, on the grand final of the popular singing series.

They hit the stage in matching halter-neck dresses for the energetic performance.

The glitzy production included dancers with Christmas-themed headpieces and confetti cannons which fired gold glitter on stage.

The two sisters danced in sync and the song ended with Kylie, 47, saying: “I love you, Dannii!”

The pop pair were watched by their parents, who were in the audience.

Dannii, 44, has been a judge on the Australian version of Simon Cowell’s franchise since 2013.

Following the performance, Kylie confessed: “I was a little nervous.”

Dannii also admitted to feeling the pressure. “I got nervous seeing those guys faces there,” she said.

This year, Dannii mentored the girls. However, all her acts were eliminated before the grand final.

The last time the Minogue sisters sang together was on Australian TV show Young Talent Time in 1986 – they sang Sisters Are Doin’ It For Themselves.

Dannii revealed the pair have turned down numerous offers to appear together.

“Early on it was important to separate ourselves,” she told News.com.au.

Talking about teaming up with her baby sister, Kylie said: “We’ve done a live performance together a few years ago, but as far as a TV-tastic moment, it’s been a long time.”

The song 100 Degrees seems to be written with Australians in mind as it’s about a hot Christmas.

“I’m happy to sing about snow and winter wonderland and all that, but I wanted a song that mentioned the heat,” Kylie told Sydney’s Nova 969 radio station.
