Yesterday, Beyonce’s younger sister bucked the trend, ditching the traditional lace and ivory gowns and more popular fishtail silhouettes for a gorgeous cape dress to wear for her wedding.

The 28-year-old, who married video director Alan Ferguson, 51, wore a beautiful Humberto Leon for Kenzo floor-length gown with an attached cape for the ceremony at Marigny Opera House in New Orleans.

The socialite clearly loves the cloak-inspired trend – she was wearing an ivory Stephane Rolland jumpsuit with a cape when she arrived at the venue.
