Marriages can be short in Hollywood, but Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are celebrating 15 years together – and they’re still going strong.

Catherine marked the occasion with a black-and-white throwback snap, showing Michael embracing her and kissing her forehead while she shoots a cheeky look at the camera.

She wrote: “Happy Anniversary dearest Michael! Loving our life together, here’s to the next 15!”

After being introduced by mutual friend Danny DeVito at the 1998 Deauville Film Festival in France, the pair tied the knot two years later in 2000. They have two children – Dylan, 15, and daughter Carys, who is 12.

Actors Catherine, 46, and Michael, 71, have overcome some difficult hurdles in their marriage.

In 2010, Michael was diagnosed with late-stage oral cancer, which he went on to battle successfully.

A few months later, in April 2011, Catherine sought treatment for bipolar II disorder.

The couple briefly separated in 2013, but were back together by the end of the year – and now seem stronger than ever.

Michael spoke recently of the “bump in the road” they had overcome together, telling Mail Online: “The problem in this business is that everything is so public. I love Catherine as much, more than I ever have. And hopefully the feeling’s mutual.

“We worked things out – if both people want to work something out and make it better, you can do it. You can’t do it if it’s just one person.”
