Josh Gad has said his eldest daughter Ava will probably have some ideas for Frozen 2.
Work on the sequel has yet to start, but The Wedding Ringer funnyman will reprise his role as snowman Olaf alongside Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa) and Jonathan Groff (Sven).
The father-of-two said: “I’m sure when I actually start working on it full-time, she’ll have tips.
“She’s very imaginative and I’m sure that there will be many suggestions. So far, nothing has been suggested yet.”
Josh, who next stars in gaming comedy-adventure Pixels alongside Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Michelle Monaghan, said he was overwhelmed by Frozen’s astounding success.
The 2013 musical movie, which centred on the relationship between sisters Anna and Elsa, won two Oscars, as well as Golden Globe, Bafta and Grammy honours. It’s also the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
“Certainly I was not expecting that. I don’t think anybody was. I think it sort of flew under the radar, and then when it hit, nobody knew it was coming,” he said.
“I feel enormously proud (of it). Olaf, Elsa and Anna have influenced so many young children in the way that Ariel, Aladdin, Sebastian and Belle and Simba influenced my generation.”
Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will return to direct the follow-up, which comes after the short film, Frozen Fever.
“We have two very strong female leads in Frozen. We will keep that going in the next one,” Chris said.
“We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with.”
Frozen 2 will be released in 2018, while Pixels is in cinemas now.
