We’ve watched the youngest of the Jenner/Kardashian tribe grow up in front of our very eyes and now Kylie Jenner is turning 18.

Her big sister, model Kendall, shared some risque pictures in advance of Kylie’s big day with the hashtag #KyliesTurning18ImScared which is making us all a bit worried about exactly what’s to come next, but we’re super excited too.

This is not a normal 18-year-old as big sister Khloe Kardashian recently pointed out in an awesome interview for Complex. “You’re not gonna say, ‘Hey, so what are you doing this weekend?’ and have [Kylie] say, ‘Having a slumber party at my girlfriend’s,’ or ‘Going to prom’,” said Khloe.

“That’s not what Kylie does. Kylie is taking business meetings and bought her first house, or she’s going on a private plane with Karl Lagerfeld to take a meeting.”

There’s been much talk recently of her looking too much like big sister Kim (some 16 years older), for using lip filler and being a bit full on, but we’re all very much fans and definitely want to keep on keeping up.

Kylie joined Twitter in January 2011 building up a loyal fanbase with younger fans of the reality TV show which first aired in 2007 when she was just 10.

We’ve seen her go from a cute kid to a feisty teen and loved her for having blue hair for big sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West, because it annoyed Kim and marked her out as her own person.

Now she’s got more than 10.8 million followers on Twitter, 30 million followers on Instagram and a huge following on Snapchat. It’s hardly surprising that Time magazine voted her and Kendall in the top 25 influential teens of 2014.

Her own website, KylieJenner.com, we’re told is coming soon and it’s going to have a mass of glam videos and make up tutorials. Meanwhile, over on Kendall-Kylie.com (which *is* live) you can choose to buy garments from either her or Kendall’s closet. Currently Kylie is modelling and selling an off-the-shoulder LBD.

This is a teenager who has just graduated high school and who had her surprise graduation party thrown by Ryan Seacrest (among others). Kylie not only has a mom but a momager in Kris Jenner and a bevvy of older brothers and sisters to get pointers from.

In addition to the clothing line, there’s already Kylie Hair Koutoure by Bellami which introduces Kylie as the “muse of a generation” who has a full time job of “setting trends”.

She gets paid for each of the episodes of KUWTK she is in, and now she’s over 18 can probably do some of the more break-out type shows (think Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami) and probably get a bigger share of any deal.

Then sticking with fashion, there’s the OPI nail polishes with Kendall plus Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – which is why the range is called Kardashian Kolors. There’s other fashion lines too – for Topshop and PacSun – and while Kendall is heading to the catwalk, it seems that Kylie, edgier, trendier, and more authentic, has the flare for design.

That’s not stopped her joining Kendall in the latest Balmain campaign.

There’s also been a Kendall and Kylie book – although it’s more Hunger Games than a version of Sweet Valley High for millennials.

But the biggest and most exciting revenue generator could be any Kendall and Kylie app-based game.

Kim’s app Kim Kardashian Hollywood was a big money spinner for the selfie queen and Glu Mobile, the firm behind, it are likely to work similar magic on a game for the Jenner girls.

Stay tuned? You bet we will.
