People were getting schooled in all things The Who as the band topped the bill on the closing night of Glastonbury 2015.
As they started their headline set on the Pyramid Stage with Who Are You lots of people were realising the song was familiar.
Where was this earworm from? Well CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, obviously. We’re going to give these people the benefit of the doubt. They’re all about the irony, right?
Then there’s people who know the truth.
And people who have just realised it.
And people who you didn’t realise would care
As well as Who Are You being used for the original CSI, tracks from the band are used for other incarnations of the show. Won’t Get Fooled Again is used for CSI: Miami, Baba O’Riley starts CSI: NY and I Can See For Miles is used on CSI: Cyber.
