Sarah Jessica Parker may have caught out attention with her large headgear, while Beyoncé had our jaws dropping with her sparkly sheer number, but it was Cara Delevingne who stood out at the Met Ball in New York.
With her hair pulled back in a neat slick bun, the 22-year-old looked stunning in her black Stella McCartney jumpsuit and her glam smoky eyes.
Yet her best accessory was the beautifully painted oriental art on her body that complimented the gala theme, China: Through The Looking Glass.
Designed by tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy (who also drew the impressive lion tattoo on Cara’s finger), the eye-catching art featured plum red flowers with spiralling branches, birds and blossoms and covered Cara’s arms, neck and décolletage.
If you’re wondering whether this will be etched permanently on the supermodel, the answer is no – it’s just paint and will wash off quite easily.
But if there’s anyone who can pull off this bold look, it’s got to be Cara. Does this mean this will become the next new beauty trend, like her signature eyebrows?
Plenty of people certainly think so.
