James Bond baddie Jesper Christensen is rumoured to be reprising his role in the new 007 movie.

The Danish actor played Mr White, a liaison for mysterious criminal organisation Quantum, in Quantum Of Solace and Casino Royale – which both featured current 007 Daniel Craig.

While Jesper’s return wasn’t revealed in the official announcement of director Sam Mendes’ new Bond film, titled Spectre, it has been reported that he told Denmark’s Euroman magazine he will be back.

“I am looking forward to working with Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig. It is a truly exciting script and a very capable team. So it’ll be fun,” he has been quoted as saying.

The title of the 24th film in the franchise was unveiled earlier this month, and Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz and Sherlock star Andrew Scott were among the cast.

The film is named after the shadowy terrorist organisation created by Bond author Ian Fleming, which first appeared in his novel Thunderball. It is an acronym for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion and is led by Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

French actress Lea Seydoux and Italian star Monica Bellucci will become Bond girls for the latest outing of the British agent, which will see Daniel reprise his role as 007 for a fourth time.

Other returning figures include Ralph Fiennes, who comes back as Gareth Mallory – the new M, whom film fans saw succeeding the character played by Dame Judi Dench in Skyfall. Rory Kinnear returns as Tanner, Naomie Harris is back as Eve Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw has another outing as Q.
