Some of the biggest bands of the 80s are under starters' orders this Saturday for an evening of live music celebrating the decade of Thatcher, Yuppies and Rubik's cubes.
T'Pau, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Young, Bananarama, right, Toyah, ABC, and Kid Creole & the Coconuts line up at Ascot Racecourse for 80s Day - a grin-inducing finale to the course's Shergar Cup Meeting.
And, the meeting is an appropriate one - with many of the artists following Shergar's lead, and, until now, disappearing without trace.
A gig with a difference, you'd be crazy not to take in some of the racing too, before catching a bit of magic from the decade where 'greed was good'.
Top tip: Well trained mares Bananarama remain favourites, though could be in for a run from bandy-legged Scouse outsider Carol Decker, and thoroughbred Belinda Carlisle who has performed well on the flat for most of her career.
Stallion Paul Young, meanwhile, is showing surprising stamina for his age, though could face an upset at the hands of knock-kneed gelding Martin Fry, of ABC. Kid Creole has long been lame, but his coconuts are worth a flutter if the going is firm.
