Emily Scott, Jess Hall and Julia Meijer play a night of beautiful music this Saturday
THERE’s a gorgeous night of music in store at the Old Fire Station on Saturday courtesy of singer-songwriter Emily Scott and a clutch of acoustic angels.
Writing specifically for strings, Emily, pictured, and her Fell Down Trio (Kate Miguda on violin, Rik Evans on viola and Pete Harvey on cello), are a captivating and enchanting live spectacle.
Expect soulful and quite magical music in an intimate setting, where you’ll be able to hear every breath and scrape of the bow.
Support comes from two of our favourite Oxford artists: Julia Meijer and Jess Hall. Tickets are £6 on the door.
Get into the mood by listening to Julia Meijer, who is this week’s featured artist on our Oxford bands showcase.
If you are an Oxfordshire artist, send us an MP3 of one of your songs to share. Email here...
In a field of her own: Jess Hall
