We send 17-year-old Teen Taster Angus Henderson to new downstairs buffet restaurant Cosmo to eat as much as he wanted. Here's what happened:

Going down into a restaurant by escalator was a bit odd I must admit, especially as you couldn't see anything until you got to the bottom, but it built up the anticipation and was something a bit different.

When you eventually got down there it really hits you. Hundreds of tables, chefs, food and ultra modern decor. Cosmo definitely has the wow factor.

It's quite formal though for a buffet restaurant even though you have to serve yourself. They ask you what drinks you want and I had a bottomless coke so could keep going back for more. They explain how it all works and tell you to go up as many times as you want, my idea of heaven.

Foodwise, it was amazing, there was a massive different range from Thai to Indian with chefs cooking chicken, pork and burgers to order and then slicing the meat in front of you if required which was so impressive.

I had pretty much everything: to start with I helped myself to some sweet and sour chicken, then some green and red Thai curry with some chicken nuggets.

Then I had the burger which was cooked in front of me and I had that it with chips and more sweet and sour chicken because it was so good.

Then I went to the Indian section and had some curry with poppadums, naan bread and mango chutney. Afterwards I managed a round of duck pancakes with plum sauce and spring onions.

That was a lot of food for me so I had to wait a while before I had pudding.

For dessert I had a bowl of chocolate from the fountain with cola bottles and marshmallows, followed by some frozen yoghurt and more chocolate sauce.

You might be thinking 'wow what a lot of food' and it was a lot even for me, but it was so good and I really enjoyed it. It also gave you, as I'm sure lots of other people will find, the option to try something they wouldn't normally go for, which is good.

The atmosphere of the place was really enjoyable with music playing in the background so your conversations were private.

The waitresses were well trained and very nice, without being too persistent so you actually got to enjoy you meal.

In fact, I'd give it a 9/10 because the food was good, if not amazing, (some of the foods were not very nice like the chicken satay which came in a nasty batter) and it would be a great place to go on a date as the atmosphere is lively.

But be warned - you will find it very had to walk out because of the amount of food you end up eating. Put it this way, it was lucky they had escalators.

I would deffo go again, and it would be great for big parties because it is a fun place to go and something a bit different.

I'm not sure how much my parents would like it though. Probably not as much as me.
