What did you think of the place?

Very bare setting, retro theme, but pretty stark. Needed a few more ornaments. Staff were great though. The menu is basic – just burritos but that’s fine with me.

You don’t have to go up and choose all the fillings like you do elsewhere, you order and they bring them to the table all made up.

Plus it’s open from noon to midnight every day, which is pretty good.

What’s on offer?

There are three sizes of burrito to choose from. Then pick Mexican beef, tequila & lime chicken, Texas pork or cajun roast vegetables. Rice, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and Monterey jack cheese are all included. Choose your chilli level of sauce and order.

What did you have? I had the Ron Grande, two 10” burritos with Texas pork and no cheese or sour cream and the spicy sauce. I wanted the Big Ron’s Rocket Fuel but thought it might burn my mouth off. The ginger beer was so good I had another one.

What was it like?

Sick. I did finish them but it was a challenge for me. I couldn’t eat again until the next day.

Overall impression?

The price was great – £10 for all that food. The food was good quality, cheap, healthy and there was plenty of it. It’s an easy place to go with friends. It’s like healthy fast food.

Would you take a girl on a date there?

Yes, if there were more people. When we went it was a bit quiet.

Better than Mission Burrito?

No nothing beats MB.
