What did you think?

It’s a lot bigger than the old place because it has more space and more tables, so you didn’t have to hold your breath and tuck your chair in for people to get past. Otherwise it’s the same, with Marvel/retro action figure wallpaper, a real-size frozen Han Solo on the wall, and now they have Spiderman hanging from the ceiling.

It’s a nice, lively place that plays old retro films on a big screen TV in the corner of the room. The only really bad thing was that the music was a bit too loud and in the corner where I was, it was a bit dark.

What did you have?

To drink I had a Cookie Monster Milkshake (£4.25) with Oreos, ice cream and whipped cream on the top, which was absolutely amazing. I always have it because Oreos are my favourite biscuit and they use this really good ice cream that’s just amazing. For a starter, I had the medium-sized buffalo wings to share with my brother. They had a sweet marinade on them that started off really nice then kicked in with a massive powerful fiery taste that burns your whole mouth. I found that if you carry on eating them without stopping then it doesn’t kick in until you stop.

For my main course I had a Dolly Parton burger (£10.95) without the Jack cheese or jalapenos but with BBQ sauce and a side of plain fries. It’s like a dream come true to have two burgers and two rashers of bacon in a bun with BBQ sauce and chips.

The burgers were nice and tender, not too dry, the bacon was crispy which is just how I like it, the BBQ sauce was nice and sweet and the bun held together well and did not fall apart. The chips were nice and thin without too much salt.

For dessert I had a Wookie Cookie Sundae (£5.65), which has to be the best I’ve ever had. It has really nice vanilla ice cream with chunks of grated Oreo in it and chocolate and butterscotch sauce with whipped cream. It’s so good I would go all the way to Cowley Road just to have another. My brother had a butterscotch milkshake (£3.25) and a Bandit burger (£9.25) – a Cajun chicken burger which was super-hot with nice, tender chicken, smokey BBQ sauce, an onion ring and Cheddar cheese with sweet potato fries.

He then had a sweet, sticky Butterkist popcorn sundae, stacked with vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, cream and popcorn (£4.25).
