‘Bump’ is doing well, moving loads and big sister is becoming increasingly interested in what’s growing inside and is regularly burying her head into my tummy or slapping it to wake the baby up to feel her moving.
I know she’s probably too young to have any idea of what is happening, but in my mind she knows she’s got a baby sister on the way to play with, mind you if she holds Bump anyway like she handles her teddies, i.e. throwing them about and holding them by the neck or legs, I pity her!!!
No joy with the double buggy yet, thorough research still going on. The reality of having another baby within 3 months time is setting in, I keep wondering who ‘Bump’ is going to look like, as Darcy looks like her Dad so everyone keeps telling me although I still can’t see it, so it would be nice for Bump to take after me.
So far I’m having a problem free pregnancy so not much to report there , I don’t go back to the midwife for another couple of weeks when I have to have the dreaded ‘Anti D’ injection.
For any other expecting mum’s out there with the blood type – rhesus negative you’ll have that delight to look forward too if you haven’t already, the injection isn’t so much painful as uncomfortable, they inject what I can only describe as cold jelly into you and you can literally feel every drop of it going in, very weird sensation but an absolute must.
Onto the subject on names, we’ve already decided on ‘Bump’s name but it isn’t common knowledge other than to immediate family, we’ve so far managed to evade the question of ‘have you thought of any names yet’, for no other reason that it doesn’t seem right to use her proper name just yet.
I’ve still got 14 weeks to go and whilst I know she’s real, as I can feel her moving on a daily basis, anything could happen been then and now, and anyway, I like calling her ‘Bump’.
