Bump is getting heavier and bigger but doing well.
I was struck down with chronic backache at the weekend after it gave up under the strain of carrying Bump and a 15 month year old who refused to walk.
This was the first time during this pregnancy that I have really felt the strain, but that was soon sorted out by a long leisurely hot bath and baby shipped of to nanny’s for the night, giving my back time to recover – thank goodness for grandparents!!!
As the weeks draw closer, our excitement is building. We are desperate to meet Bump and introduce her to the rest of her family in particular her big sister, I wonder how Darcy will be with her, and will she be jealous?
Will she understand Bump is her baby sister or will she see her as some awful little screaming creature that takes up mummy and daddy’s time and wants to share her toys?
One thing is for certain is that I know our 3 cats will definitely see her that way, another little person to annoy them by pulling their tails and chasing them around the house, they have grown to love her as they will Bump, in particular when the children are asleep!!
