CULHAM: Parents hoping to send their children to Oxfordshire’s first free school this September face an anxious wait to find out if they have secured a place.

For this year, the Europa School UK, in Culham, has run its admissions system separately to the Oxfordshire County Council general admissions process.

The deadline for applications was last week and parents must wait until Monday, May 21 to find out if spots have been allocated to their child for the multilingual free school.

Parents will then have until Thursday, May 31 to accept or decline.
