The La Senza lingerie store is set to close in Banbury.
The troubled company’s website says the High Street store is among 81 earmarked for the axe after it applied to go into administration on December 23.
A spokesman for the company’s owner, Lion Capital, said the move was not confirmed but it is listed as due to close on the website and a member of staff said they had been told it would close but could could not confirm when.
Finance specialist KPMG has been appointed to handle the sale of the business.
It follows the news that Witney-based Past Times is also up for sale and has applied for administration, while toy shop Hawkin’s Bazaar which has outlets in Oxford and Banbury has gone into administration.
Barratts Shoes which has an Oxford branch is in administration and Blacks Leisure, owner of camping accessory store Milletts, which has branches in Oxford, Witney, Bicester and Banbury is up for sale.
