Two businessmen have been charged with offences in connection with the collapse of Witney-based Torex Retail, which went into administration in June 2007.
Edwin Nessim Dayan and Christopher Mark Ford have been charged with conspiracy to defraud, false accounting, and misleading an auditor.
The alleged offences took place between March and July 2006, when Edwin Dayan was chief technology officer and board member of Torex Retail, and Christopher Ford was finance director of subsidiary Xn Checkout.
The Serious Fraud Office said it was still investigating the collapse of Torex Retail, which is in administration.
The case does not relate to a new company, Torex Retail Holdings, set up after the collapse, whose Witney office closed in 2008.
The pair will appear at Banbury Magistrates Court on February 12.
