TRADERS at Oxford’s annual Christmas market will up sticks on Sunday for another year.

Some 45 stalls selling hand-made gifts have been pitched on Broad Street from 10am every day since December 11.

Kenneth Rochester, who sells musical animals, pictured above, said: “I’d love it to be bigger next time but have really enjoyed the steady flow of people.”

It is the fifth year the market – which features gift stalls as well as hot food and drink stands – has been held in Oxford.

Choirs and bands have also been staging performances and there was a Victorian-style carousal for children to ride.

The last day of the market, on Sunday, will run from 10am to 6pm.
