Irresponsible application
I CANNOT believe that Saj Malik – a councillor who is part of a council responsible for the care and well-being of a university city, full of young and vulnerable students who are hopefully going to contribute to our nation’s future – should not only open a late-night eating place in West Oxford (where our police opposed its planning permission) but should also apply to keep his premises open even later into the early hours of the morning and complain when the application is turned down by his fellow councillors (Oxford Mail, April 19). read more
